How to quiet your mind

Idk who needs to hear this but:

I am really proud of how you’re handling this.

There are so many emotions running through your mind lately, it’s hard to keep up.
The constant anxiety and worrying exhausts you, and then you fall off your routine and self-care which makes things feel even worse.

Everything feels heavy doesn’t it? You want to push through it, but you literally feel paralyzed on the inside. Perhaps
you just had a huge let down or setback. Your motivation feels non existent.

When you don’t have anything to pin your hope to, it can be easy to all of sudden think “ well, wait a minute, what’s
the point?” When plans change abruptly or things happen outside of our control it can feel really, really scary. It’s hard
to let go of a dream you’ve been focusing all your energy towards.

Motivated Morning

Again, let’s remember, God wastes nothing. You can always make plans, but pin your hope and purpose to Him.
When your plans become His plans, you can accept the detours, setbacks, and pivots a lot easier.

As for you feeling better today, here’s what I want you to focus on:
-3 things you are grateful for, or that you will release to God to worry about
-get in your movement FIRST (25-30 min you can do this!)
-take a nice steamy shower, put on some comfy clothes
-make a nourishing breakfast
-commit to 2-3 tasks only today (whether work or progressional) knock them out using a timer so you don’t get
distracted- try to finish by lunch.
-then get out of the house if you can- go walk, or take yourself somewhere to sit in the sun, read, or just rest.
-call a friend or family member to tell them you love them

Woman to woman: you know things always feel worse when you neglect your self-care. When you are taking care of
yourself, you are able to handle stress a lot easier. So make note of this, and please reach out if you need help
getting back on track.
