Dear I don’t know who needs to hear this,
It’s ok if you feel numb right now. You’re in a hard place.
I’m proud of you for sitting in this tension simply letting yourself feel and experience whatever it is you need to while learning how to give yourself grace.
I’m also really proud of you for not rushing or reacting to these feelings impulsively.
Maybe this is the first time you are actually acknowledging this pain or situation. You can take all the time you need to process. There is no timeline for you to “get over it” as you are learning to give yourself grace.
Your story is your story, and only you know what you need. You owe no one an explanation. Do whatever you need to rest your soul today.
Tend to your heart. Guard your mind. Get still and stay quiet.
God knows how bad your heart stings from this pain. He knows how lonely, helpless, and scared you feel. He also knows how hard you are trying to resist negativity and remain grateful (and He’s not faulting you when you fail either babe so give yourself grace).
Sweet friend, I am in the trenches with you, and it’s going to be OK.
I’m holding your hand in prayer and I’m not leaving your side either.
Don’t look behind or ahead, just look down at your feet and keep putting one in front of the other.
Your path is evolving and redirecting towards better days as you read this.
Take care of yourself today, ok? God will handle the rest- I promise!
Come back to this if you need it.
Love you, Mama K
