I believe we can always keep learning about ourselves and sharpening our skills.
Since it’s January and we are all in the mood for some resolutions, here are some fun new ways you could facilitate some of your personal goals this year:
-Try a new journal out: sometimes a new visual prompt can give your motivation a little boost.
-Pick one new book a month: commit to read 10 min a day.
-Sign up for a new hobby or activity: something pushes you just a smidge out of your comfort zone.
-Leave yourself sticky notes of reminders or affirmations on your mirror: change them out each week so you pay attention to them.
-Hire a therapist: therapy is the new barre, ladies. I would lose my mind without my therapist!
-Download a meditation app and commit to one of their challenges: I really enjoy Abide and Headspace app.
-Get your creative juices flowing again: baking, art, volunteering…whatever sparks joy in heart!
Know why these are so important?
Not only do they make you feel good, they create self-discipline and mindfulness skills.
If you are in a season of trying to make healthier lifestyle choices and long term changes, I would save this list and keep it somewhere handy.
