Here are 5 ACTION STEPS you can take NOW to own the last week of 2020, to start the new year off with a bang (and keep it going!)

1.PRETEND LIKE TOMORROW IS JANUARY 1! DON’T USE THE HOLIDAY SHORT WEEK AS AN EXCUSE TO DERAIL FROM YOUR GOALS AND INTENTIONS. CREATE URGENCY AROUND YOUR NEEDS!

2. CANCEL ANY NEW YEAR’S PLANS THAT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO SHOW UP 110% JANUARY 1. IT STARTS WITH YOU. SET BOUNDARIES, HAVE THE CONVERSATIONS, AND REMEMBER YOU OWE NOBODY AN EXPLANATION FOR CHOOSING YOURSELF.

3. TAKE CARE OF ANY SUBSCRIPTIONS, PAYMENTS, AND RENEWALS. GO AHEAD AND MAP OUT THE NEW ONES, OR ANY REOCCURRING APPOINTMENTS, DATES IN YOUR NEW 2021 PLANNER. PREPARE TAXES.

4. INSTEAD OF GOING OUT AND STAYING UP LATE, STAY IN AND HAVE A SELF REFLECTION/ROADMAPPING PARTY TO CELEBRATE ALL THE CHANGES YOU HAVE MADE AND ARE PLANNING TO MAKE. YOU WILL BE SO MUCH BETTER OFF NOT HAVING A HANGOVER, AND FULLY PREPARED TO START THE NEW YEAR STRONG. INVITE SOME FRIENDS!
