I used to get WAY carried away with my to-do list expectations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You know the term “eyes bigger than the stomach”?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me it was a to-do list bigger than the day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I would write out WAY much more than what could OR needed to be completed…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And then, of course, I wouldn’t get to it all, I’d perceive myself as a failure and the negative self-talk would hang around for the rest of the week.
Learn to MAGNIFYING your great efforts and minimize your focus on one small hiccup.
Those small “hiccups” mean NOTHING in the long run. Creating your dream lifestyle is a process, not an overnight fix. Focus on your victories, and all the previous times you have chosen to persevere when you want to give up, before.
Remember that recovery and rest are essential to perseverance.
